Month 1: N(ominee)1, N2, N3, N4, N5. Winner: N1
Month 2: N2, N3, N4, N6, N7. Winner: N2
Month 3: N3, N4, N6, N7, N8. Winner: N3
Month 4: N4, N6, N9, N10, N11. Winner: N4
.. and so on. See the trend? IMO, ROTM would probably be a better experience (and have less complaints) if nominees from the previous month (whether they've won or not) should be excluded from the current month. This would at least spice up the competition drastically - giving us different cars each round - and the competition itself would feel more inclusive (rather than the closed format we're experiencing now). Doing so would make it less of a popularity contest, but rather more of a proper "ride of the month".
That said, I'm really surprised that the red FA5 didn't get in.

then categories each month to get qualified? that way we can get a wide array of worthy cars.
