Next 5 days - Members vote on the 10 cars, and the top 5 make it through to the final ( what we have now)
Then the last 15 days is status quo, how it is now.
Thoughts?
P.S - It's ride of the month, for people who invest a lot of money and time into their rides ( to make it better than others/more unique). There are thousands of stock cars out there with one or two mods. James your Mugen is nice, but it is still pretty stock.
You can't go to a car show and expect them to go easy on you because you don't have the money some of the other competitors have, or enter into a racing series but not being able to afford new tires, and expecting people slow down for you on track.

This format would actually be pretty good. I promised you guys that I'd keep my mouth shut, but it really seems like it ain't working properly as it should. As of the current format, it feels as its the same each month. The lineup of nominees is pretty much the list of future ROTM winners. This is what's pretty much happening:
Month 1: N(ominee)1, N2, N3, N4, N5. Winner: N1
Month 2: N2, N3, N4, N6, N7. Winner: N2
Month 3: N3, N4, N6, N7, N8. Winner: N3
Month 4: N4, N6, N9, N10, N11. Winner: N4
.. and so on.
See the trend? IMO, ROTM would probably be a better experience (and have less complaints) if nominees from the previous month (whether they've won or not) should be excluded from the current month. This would at least spice up the competition drastically - giving us different cars each round - and the competition itself would feel more inclusive (rather than the closed format we're experiencing now). Doing so would make it less of a popularity contest, but rather more of a proper "ride of the month".
That said, I'm really surprised that the red FA5 didn't get in.
