That would be nice. But it's hard to keep the SRI cool and get cool air. You really only have the option I choose, which was to go back as far as possible and low. I'm going to fabricate a heatshield that will divert the cool air from below. I know people are going to say, "why not just get a CAI?". But, I'm not most people and would like to come up with my own ways to get performance out of my car.

I have the K&N with the heatshield it doesn't seem to help. I also had thermal wrapped the intake but that just made the temps rise slower. However it took much longer to decrease the temps when moving once they had risen.
