No, didn't have gloves. It's all good, I only have a few places let where it won't come off just yet, mostly on the back of my hand where I just don't want to pull if off because of the hair

I would just do it yourself, I used that little socket set for the whole thing, well and the pipe because some of the bolts were tight as hell....and a torque wrench. You only need two sockets a 17mm and a 3/4" (I don't know what the metric is for that but that is what I used)
And the tube looks like this when it isn't cut open
Only thing I would suggest is that you buy a decent caulk gun because the $2 one at wal-mart sucks (as you can see)
