You people are morons. You don't think that circuit is in place for a reason? This is especially the case for remote start! If the person installing your remote starter doesn't know how to set it up to properly interface with your clutch, take your keys out of his hand, smack the $hit out of him for calling himself a professional, and drive away. I've been installing remote starters for 8 years, and have a pretty good handle on it.

What happens when someone else drives your car and leaves it in gear with no e-brake? When you remote start it, the car WILL move far enough to hurt something or someone. Guess who's paying those medical bills?

If you really insist on being able to start the car without the clutch, install a momentary push-button on the dash somewhere that shorts those two wires together.
