I have an EX-L, I just popped the rear speaker covers off and replaced them with Polk
DB6501's had to cut two deck corners (for speakers to fit flush) and bore hole through the deck for the tweeter then mounted the cross over box underneath the deck.

The trunk rods were not in the way of the sub but are close to the tweeter. sound is good although I need power! (An amp when my finances permit).

Where the speaker cover has ports for the speaker I'm going to drill through? 100 holes or whatever to open up the cover so the tweeter can breath. (The rear speaker cover holes are open to the speaker only although it's a big cover, can you find a cover that's covered in fabric and open???)
