I guess i posted this thread cause of the news i heard about two kids taking their parents BMW and Benz out for a race, ended up killing a cabbie who lives right near me. The thing is that they did it in such a dense part of the city. goin 120 with buildings next to you maybe an exciting, but its definately not safe and its stupid (stupid would still be an understatment)

I love gunning it right off the on ramps especially at night near my area in Toronto. next to no cops, very little people too. I guess for some there really are no open spaces cause the city is so tight. but in toronto, travel like 10 mins north and you get some pretty wide open roads (i am not talking downtown toronto) there are places to do it and then there are places where you're just asking to die.

thats my 2 cents
Im with you on this one. With my old car (92 civic hatch) i would just fly around offramps off the highway when there was no-one around. Why.. because well i knew how the car would handle and the suspension was low + stiff.

If its late and theres noone on the highway, i will giv'er **** just because.

Street racing on the other hand- im very against. I dont do it because well... im 18, i need my car for school/work and i cant afford to have it impounded/have my lisence gone.

speeding- nah.. to risk a ticket only to get somewhere 5 minutes earlier doesent really appeal to me.
