well one of the two wires if for your power (positive) and the other is your ground (negative). The positive for mine has a thin red line on it and this is the one that you connect to the power in your car via the T clamp. The other wire (ground) is the one that you have to connect to the chassis of the vehicle. On this you connect via one of the screws. Hope that helps. If there is no thin red line, thin you have to find out which one is round and which one is positive.
