Well, today I made an appointment to get my 3rd gear checked by The Honda Way. I went in with low expectations, as I have read many a horror story on here about dealerships being difficult about the 3rd gear warranty issue.

My 3rd gear was by no means TERRIBLE, it was a bit notchy occationally, but I am sure many people have it worse.

I dropped the car off at 830am, and called at 12 to see if they had reached a conclusion on a way to solve the problem.

I am now getting a full rebuild of the tranny/3rd gear. Parts were ordered today, and the tech also offered to loan me a car for the 2 days mine will be in the shop.

I am very impressed, there was absolutely no hassel. I strongly reccommend them to anyone buying a new car, or anyone in need of repairs.
