I haven't tried any of the other shift knobs BUT when I took off the OEM knob, I was surprised by its weight. The factory knob is rather hefty in its own right. I like the fact that, with the factory knob with leather on the sides, It won't feel like im grabbing the wrong end of a hot pan or an ice cream cone... depending on the season LOL! On the other hand, I do kinda like the artillery shell looking shifter... looks easy to shift with... wish it had a leather wrapping on it though... sigh
