The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) is controlled by the TPMS control unit. There's no way to disable the TPMS system without illuminating the TPMS light and setting a variety of communication DTC's. The TPMS control unit communicates with the ECM/ PCM and gauge control module (tach) via the F-CAN communication network.
