i have an 07' si and i could not find this hole pictured in the firewall. there is a perfect hole in the insulation but it appears to be a dead end. i even took out the air filter in the engine compartment to make sure.
i could be wrong (or blind) but i ended up having to go through the main factory gommet above the accelerator and let me tell you it was not fun
if you have to go this route do what someone suggested earlier and use a long screwdriver to punch through the grommet.
