I would love to have a great comeback for that.. but since 90% of young civic owners in the past are the cause of this, I have nothing. It really bothers me too. Matter of fact, it bothers me to the point that I've thought about returning to my old job just to get a different make of car because I'm so sick of hearing it. I've been lucky enough to come across a group of tuners that understand that not all civic owners are like that, but you still can't erase the damage people have done.
Matter of fact, I had a kid at a meet a while back sit there and make fun of civics for about 45 minutes. I asked him what his beef was and his reply was actually hilarious... it was something along the lines of "I would never buy a car that sounds that way stock, not to mention they're only reliable for like 100k miles and then they run like sh!t." I later found out that he drove a tc.. even later in the night I found out the tc was his moms and he had a farm truck.
