As the originator of this thread, I wanted to provide the context of these photos.
There were a few of you that were interested in beam patterns, and were interested in what the pattern looked like with a HID conversion using the Civic reflectors.
I had received a request to see what a wall reflection looked like. I did not have any photos at the time so I simply did what those who were interested should have done, i.e. I did a search of the forum archives, and came up with this photo.
Please notice that in the original post, it has a credit to the original photographer.
Later, I actually got around to taking a photo of a Civic headlight pattern wit the HID conversion that I did, and this is what this photo is.
If you are looking for a representative photo of color, then use this one.
The bottom line is that they are from 2 different cars, cameras, environments, and photographers. That is why they look quite a bit different. There is no claim that the conversion color-shifted etc. or that this is a before and after series of photos.
