I have more fun getting the best performance out of a slow car... it's more engaging to drive than a point-and-shoot pocket rocket. Anybody can press a gas pedal... where's the challenge in that?
Oddly, I like hybrids more for the entertaining instant-feedback arcade-style MPG game than for any real fuel economy savings. Weird, huh?
