Did you remember to disconnect your positive wire from the battery and let it sit for 5 minutes then reconnect? If you didn't do that yet, you should. Don't forget to grab your code for the radio too, so when you start your car, you can type in the code to the radio and make it work again.

At mid-range (3500 to 5000 RPM) I can occationally hear the raspiness too, usually only in higher gears at lower speeds. Fortunately after a tank or so your Si will settle down once the computer adjusts to the new increased airflow, then you'll notice the raspiness less.
I am pleased that after a month of use through a wide range of ambient temperatures (25 degrees to 68 degrees), those initial vibrations have become unnoticable now that everything has settled. Although when I clean the filter for the first time, I too will definitely be doing SiCop's dampening trick -- hopefully by then K&N will have a retro-fit available.
What kind of milage are yall getting? Every time I fill up, I tell myself that I'm gonna take it easy on this tank -- but then I get on a straight away and the urge to take it into VTEC takes over
K&N makes a great SRI -- definitely recommend to all!
