I replaced my rear rotors with Autozone stockers. Seems like they were less than $20 each and now they are brand new and shiny when you look through the spokes of the wheels. Why pay $20 to resurface when you can replace them for $40? Especially when the ceramic pads cost $50+ for Durabrand gold. It is nice to have everything brand new and ready for a [1] hour installation vs getting halfway through and running to a shop to get them turned.
My stock pads tore the snot out of my rotors. Seems like the stock rotors wore out faster than the pads.
80k+ before I needed them but I run all desolate highway miles on cruise control.
