Well, I bought the car (FG2 Si) for my wife about 13 months ago about a month before the TSB was released. I had the TSB completed and... it has popped out of third about 5-6 times over the last 8k miles (car just hit 19k).

I had taken it in twice to have them try and replicate the problem and no dice. Of course all the rattles in the car seemed to be gone when I took the mechanic out for the test drive, and the chances of having it pop out of gear on the drive were slim (and the odds were correct).

It has been a few months since I had Williamsburg Honda check the car so I figured it was a matter of time until the next pop-out.

I was driving home from my grandfather's house in North Carolina and just as I was driving onto the interstate from the traffic light, I shifted into second and slowly let out the clutch and gave it some gas.

It popped out.

When I tried to put it back into gear it ground a few times and would not go back in. So I put it into 3rd and accelerated away. As I shifted into 4th, you guessed it,

It popped out again.

Has anyone ever had this happen with 2nd and 4th gear? The car has been babied (my wife drives like grandma) since day one, with the exception of a few spirited drives by yours truly.

How am I going to get Honda to fix this crap, or should I just trade it in for another car? I am sick of the rattles and transmission BS and either want it fixed or gone. Suggestions?
