i'd have to admit, i was a little bewildered with i got my kit too, i was all prep for the xenondepot style instalation. I have pics and i'll try to up load them... but mine works in a similar way, its just that it doesn't get the power from the stock sockets (the white plug that goes into the 9006 bulbs). instead its hooked up to the battery, goes to the ballast then to the HID bulbs. and to control on and off, it uses the stock socket (the white plug that goes into the 9006 bulbs) from one side to get the signal (on or off). ITs pretty unique IMO, seems kinda old school too, but its working aight but doesn't seem very space efficient, cause i now have a bundle of wires ontop of my battery.... haven't had time to think about where else to tie it down to yet.
