Exclamation Drove through flooded streets!

Ok so heres what happened. Its being raining since 12 here in the Houston Area. Some areas got flooded and some didn't. So I got off work about an hour 1/2 ago and on my way home there was a lot of flooded streets. I couldn't turn back because the streets to turn back were even more flooded! So i stayed to the higher sides of the streets of course. I drove through some deep parts. I had to take different routes to get to my house to avoid the really flooded streets. When I drove through the water it was hard to tell how high the water was. Anyways when I was driving my breaks felt more stiff, I got home and opened up the hood to see what got wet. There was a few water spots on the engine manifold and the cover. Battery was really wet but not too extreme. Fuse box was kinda wet as well as some other parts. My car is stock except for the exhaust. Should I be worry?! I just hear a lot of stories of cars being hydro locked and stuff. Thanks I know I'm probably panicking for nothing but its my baby!
