I've had it happen to me.
If the water is deep enough, and you drive through it.
HIGH water, not puddles. Alot of you will have nothing to worry about. If you live in a city like Houston where 4 inches of rain an hour isn't uncommon, BE Very carefull.
When it happened to me I was exiting the freeway, it was raining really hard (the kind that drops 4+ inches an hour) as soon as I hit the feeder road it was too late. The car coasted to a stop, and it was dead. I bent 2 rods.
So please guys, if you hadn't had it happen to you, don't guess. Bad information could get someone in trouble.
