Yeah I did the solder at all of my connections, its a pain in the butt but you can do it, also to tap into the back of the S2000 push button you are use a computer plug that would plug in the to the back of a disk drive, same size and fits right in. I didnt do it but I have seen a picture of it.

I did mine this way so that it would make it easy to unplug the starter next time I remove the dash.
