perhaps, but i dont know. wouldn't it sound all the time in all gears? the odd part about this is that it's ONLY in the first gear selected to get the vehicle moving. and it's only sometimes...i'd think that if it was the throwout bearing that it would be noticable during every shift. ive tried, while driving, to just slip the clutch and see what happens and i cannot get the sound to repeat.
