If you need 12V, just connect in parallel from the white ignition wire. That way, you can save yourself the extra wiring and avoid having to use the cigarette lighter.

If you use the white ignition wire you start engine bac will constantly be on. Not that its a big deal, but it just bothers me having a light on in my car all the time.
BTW I like the trim ring that you put around your hazzard. Is it painted aluminum?
