Wow, this DIY is incredible. I didn't have a Pioneer, I had a Kenwood DNX7120 to install and even though they are different radios this guide was a tremendous help. The wiring between Pioneer and Kenwood are almost identical, and the pictures were a great help. Only difference I noted, for my system the MUTE wire I left unconnected. I believe if it were grounded it would mute all audio output.

And I found a great place to put the GPS antenna. I've noticed that antenna placement varies between you guys, but I stuck it with double-sided pressure tape to the top of the tachometer area, right below the dash cover. No wires showing and the signal is excellent.
