Yeah, any DC power supply will work, although watch the start-up voltage spike on the ballast. If the power supply isn't much more powerful than the ballast's power consumption, then you may end up blowing fuses or tripping breakers. My power supply can handle 60A DC, so I can test 4 ballasts at once
