Yeah, I'd love to have them! The more I think about the "sphere" idea, the more I like it, but I want to see some different angles to make sure I haven't overlooked anything... thanks!
Btw, I wanted to order two or three of those spheres today, but I was busy as hell today, so I'll have to think of something else I need to order so I can tack those on the end

You might distort the cutoff line with the bracket where it is.
I talked to caveman74 about what a color mod was, and he said that adding washers as spacers where those two little posts are will increase the color at the cutoff, bringing out more blue. He added two #8 washers (so a total thickness of around 0.080 to 0.100 inches, and the cutoff line looked very nice. The thickess of the tabs where you mentioned are about 0.040 inches thick, so the effect will be less.
Was I right on his explanation of the color mod, or did I miss something? If that's not where the washers go, I may have to rethink the bracket.
