I bought some Hawks HPS for my 07 Si.

After taking out the stock pads, I realized that there are two shims attached to each of the inner and outer pads. Looking at the new pads, it appears to have the a single shim pre glued onto the back of the pad.

So my question is for those who have installed the this particular pad - Do the Hawks HPS pads need the OEM shim on top of the pre glued shim attached to the HPS pads?
