Why did you get your g35 with an auto!? That'd be my only problem. I assume you've test driven an si already so you know what sort of power you're going to lose. I love my si to death and love the involvement I feel with the manual and vtec in my ear, but I don't think I could justify the shift. I've never driven a car with any power that had an automatic, so I don't know how dissatsifying it is, but you're going to lose out on handling and power if you downgrade. I guess you would be getting a new car though! 5 years isn't a bad run.
Okay I'm getting really convoluted here. I say it all depends on exactly how much money you're going to lose on the trade in.
