Haha, just gotta look at the user page

Unfortunately, I really didn't do any research, I just knew in my mind what kind of material I wanted and just kept going from store to store until I found it. The jersey-style is a pretty specific type, and it will likely be difficult to find. Your best bet is probably online.

The extra foam is fine actually... it's open-cell foam so it's really squishy. You can see in the picture how the upper part of the door blends with the foam on the insert part. I didn't even have to add any more glue to glue it down onto the panel... the stuff that was left behind from the stock material that I removed was still rediculously sticky.
