Let me take this moment to clarify a few things. This is an 8thCivic.com meet, not an 8th generation Civics only meet. If you are a member or guest of a member, it doesn't matter what you drive. My nephew, ThatCamryGuy, will be going. Last year, he drove a stock 1992 Camry and hung with all the Si's! This year, he'll be in a 2000 Trans Am WS6. etf's wife drove their Mini (aka Mean Mr. Bean). Uncle Sid, your bro's 'balt will be welcome there, too. I'm really looking forward to checking out the other cars. Just don't feel left out when we don't include your cars in the 8th generation Civic group photos. We'll make sure and get photos of the "other cars" together, too.
Also, there seemed to be some confusion on the part of one member about this thread being in the South forum. The only reason this is posted in the South forum is because that is where it is occurring. Last year, half of the states represented were not in the South region. This year, we have folks from Michigan, New York, Vermont, and even three members from Canada interested! 8CCD is NOT a South regional meet. It is a meet for anyone from anywhere who not only wants to meet and hang out with other members and check out each other's cars, but also for those people who want to do some spirited driving on one of the best roads in world. It is for driving enthusiasts everywhere!
