After owning two 8ths, I agree totally. After my early build 06 got the rev hang reflash, I pretty much forgot about the DBW. And blipping is easier because you can just stab it and the flexibility of the engine takes care of the rest... Love these cars....

As for the tranny, no issues if the car has had a chance to really warm up...
This goes for both my 06 & 08. My 06 failed to give me gears more often than the 08 but I always attributed this to cold temps, bad clutching or poor seating position...
