Just washed my Civic Hybrid 08'

Just washed my Civic in VERY cold weather.

Anyways, I did not use a power washer. I could not find a grit guard anywhere near me. I used:

Bucket
Water
Blue Coral Wash
Sheepskin mitt
Microfiber mitt
Microfiber Sponge
Armor All Drying Towel
MF Towels from Sams Club
Meguiar's Clay Bar
Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax 2.0
Meguiar's Quick Detailer
Meguiar's Tire Foam (awesome)
Rain-X Window Treatment
Meguiar's Showcar Glaze 7 (only used it on hood because I did not feel it did a lot since my paint is not VERY dark. I will try on my Black X5 and report how it works)

Everything except bucket (which I had) and Glaze 7 (Autozone), and MF towels was purchased at Walmart!

I tried pretty hard, but it's not as good as some of the pros here. First time with clay bar. I must say, it was hard at first, but got easier.

Problems I ran into:

1. The Armor All towel was useless, it left orange pieces everywhere! Same happened with the MF towels; I had to first whip them in the air to remove the particles.
2. I didn't put on a sealant because I could not really find one.
3. Not a problem, but the clay was impossible to fold to a new side because it was so COLD.
4. The wax did not seem to increase the shine of my car... I used the included applicator circle. Applied a light coat and wiped away with MF Towel.

A bigger problem: I found around three rock chips in the hood that were a little deeper than my nail. What can I do about these?
