Don't over rev your engine. It keeps a log in the computer and it will void your warranty.

Also, it's not good to go from 6th to 3rd because the synchro has to do a lot more work to make such a jump. Go through the gears to get to third.

The way to do the least damage to your synchros while changing quickly from 6th to 3rd is to DOUBLE-CLUTCH as well as rev-match as usual. This will match the spindle speeds and put no strain whatsoever on your synchros.
