i do 6th then drop to 3rd when going 65mph and it just fine
but dont ever ever down shift to a lower gear other than 3rd otherwise 65mph into 2nd gear = NO SO GOOD. if your going over 75 dont go down to 3rd !! 65 -70 is "MY" limit down shifting into 3rd.
