good thing you posted this.. a long time ago i was cruising at:
65 km/h in gear 6 at i believe 1900 rpm
and he wanted to hear vtec in my car so:
i downshifted to gear 2, brought it instantly up to about 6000-6500 rpm and vroomMMEdd away.. perfect rev match, and he said i was ******* up my car by dropping it 4 gears :o
i told him that he's wrong.. so some one clarify for me.. so, was i wrong in saying that i didnt damage my engine in any way and thats the proper way to get instant vtec?
its not like i downshifted into redline, or its not like i didnt rev match or my car jerked or anything.. nice, smooth, vtec
