I also tried a few different brands of Amsoil motor oil in my turbo motor and the stuff smoked and burnt off faster than I've ver seen. The GReddy oil outperformed it and so did the Mobil1, barely. The best stuff so far has been the Motul 8100 5W-40. But I'm going to go with the Motul 300 5w-40 next time. My personal opinion is Amsoil blows ass. And I really don't give a crap about oil analysis or any crap on the internet. My REAL WORLD experience with Amsoil was terrible.

Kind of hard to draw any comparison when you are running 2 different weight fluids, much less types of fluid, but if it didn't work, it didn't work. I would have went with the MTG seeing the MTF is designed to replace the OEM Fluid.

My real world experience is I have several hundred Honda owners that have had just the opposite experience as you, along with the Honda Dealerships I sell to, so there is a good possibility it could be driver error.
