I just installed my D3 in my '08 Si coupe. I used this thread as a guide together with the instructions from PAC's website. Everything went well and I have no issues with sound/video/bypass or anything. I already had 2 12" subs with an amp installed on my factory sound system. I decided to keep the stock sub connected along with the stock amp, so I am using both the stock and my aftermarket amp and it sounds great. My system is not hooked up with RCA at all, at least not behind the radio. I think the shop that installed my subs and amp did all the wiring using my rear speakers. Thank God, I was hoping they didn't cut up any of the Honda wiring behind the radio.

The minor complications that came up are:

I had to lightly sand the Scosche dash kit in the area where the a/c controls go. I sanded around the edges because the buttons would get stuck when I pushed them. Very light sanding corrected this.

The other complication was with the GPS antenna. I placed it behind the radio as mentioned in this thread but I got no signal and the D3 claimed the antenna wasn't connected. I instead passed the wire through my door sill and panel in the rear and placed it just next to the right-rear speaker by the rear window. I get full signal this way. I haven't neatened up the wire yet but it was pretty simple to set up.

I guess the ONE thing I'm not liking about the D3 is that I have a LOT of music on my iPod and scrolling through the artists is kind of slow. I wish they had designed a keypad where you can type the first letter of an artist's name and it would scroll down to that letter for you. Simple design idea that wasn't implemented =/ but oh well, that's what playlists are for. The navigation is alright but in my area it sometimes will tell me to go around the entire block to get onto the main road near me when I can really just drive down my block and turn right. But for highway use it's really effective.

The sound quality is definitely a bit better than the stock radio. With factory settings the bass was a little too much so I easily made a custom EQ and now it's sounding really good.
