As I am using silverstar ultras in my car, I can tell you that they seem to be a bit brighter, but they definitely are more white. Because they are more white, they may seem brighter. Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps.

heh sorry i didn't ask, i was using it as an example
Looking at the picture, the ultras are barely as bright as the stock bulbs. that means that the regular silverstars aren't even as bright (the ultras are supposed to be 30% brighter than the regular silverstars) as stock. I think the xtravisions would be better.
i tried sylvania's xtravision, i changed 1 bulb at first (on my old accord)
it was the xtravision vs. sylvania regular halogen. The xtravision was noticeably brighter. Thats not even the best part, people that have used xtravision bulbs say that night hawks, visionplus, etc etc (+50% bulbs) are brighter than the xtravision. Thats why i'm going to try them out.
