Not that long..
Most of these posts are old but here my .02 cent goes..
I remvoed my pinstriped but my car was a year old(New car, left over in the lot) and I can see a color difference. I began with a blow dryer and peeled most of it off with ease leaving behind a lot of residue. I came across one section of my car that didn't want to peel off what a PITA. So the residue was so baked on I had to clay bar mine to get it off, but even that didn't work I used too much force and put a lot of swirls into the car using a microfiber towel and quick detail I had to buff out.
I do live in the hot Florida sun so after doing this I was kinda pissed that there is a color difference and that I wasn't gentle enough and left swirls after cleaning with a microfiber towel.
To the guy talknig about he doesnt wan't to wax his car...your suposed to do that every month any way, no it does not remove your clear coat either.
To the guy using a razor blade ....ZOMG NOOOOO
