You'd need that anyway. Turbos need to breathe. That's how they make power.

You can find K-series for as low as $600 (Accord K24 block). The K20a2 head can be found for as low as $750. Tranny and ECU don't cost as much as B-series parts and you can find everything here used for a decent price. Shouldn't cost much to have the engine swapped in there at a flat labor rate. You'd need to have custom mounts welded in, but you'll more than likely still come in under the cost of a turbo, install, ECU upgrade, and dyno tuning, provided you can find all of this. You'd be slightly faster than a stock Si if you swapped a stock K20z3 engine (or a K20a2/K24a2 hybrid...and you have more torque too). The EX is a couple hundred pounds lighter than the Si. Carbon Fiber Hood, lightweight battery, carbon trunk (all things that can be swapped in and out pretty easily) and you should be at least a half-second to a full-second faster than the Si in the 1/4. And you get to keep your AC, power steering and full interior. Did I mention it's factory reliable?
