I did my 9th oil and filter change last weekend and I used a set of ramps for the first time (the ramps get the front wheels up about 5" from the ground). All of my prior oil changes were done using jack stands (I'm not sure how high the front was up). Anyway, my Si took 5.25 quarts to get it to the fill mark (I checked the level both when hot and when cold). I found the need to add an add'l 1/4 qrt a little odd. I must just have to do with the ramps vs. place stands and the fact that I let it drain for about 1 hour vs. my normal 15 minutes.
