there is actually an easier way to piggy back a power wire for the REM wire... under the dash there is a cluster of wires coming from the fuse box.. open it up and look for a red or orange wire that are thicker than the rest... take a knife and make a small incision into the RED wire and force the REM wire into then you can wrap some electrical tape around it to seal it off

i attached a switch to it to turn my subs on and off for when my daughter is in the car as well which i twist-tied to the brake switch wiring

i used a high/low converter and quick-splices to the left
rear speaker to get the inputs for my amp


i ran the wire under the door sil paneling and tried to hide it all the way to the back

finished product with 90% wires hidden
