guess what! I got it to work successfully =)! No I had the resistor there already and wiring correct, but it was down to the programming that stumped me. According to the directions here Jepetto has the right steps of each button, but the procedure to program each key was a lot different. I can't explain how I did it cuz it took me 2-3 hours to figure this out! You know what sucks? My car didn't have enough sufficient juice to start my engine haha. Everything else was working headlights, instrument lights, etc. I did all this on my driveway at 10PM and ended at 12AM what a mission! I also ended up breaking my Pioneer trim piece which I so carefully trimmed to fit back in July =(. It was bending so I tried to straighten it and it snapped.

The way I programmed it was through me manually hitting the program button when the LED blinked the version of my car. From there every button I pressed made the light go off and then back on for the next button for programming. Not even the manual was really helpful. I was so close to giving up and selling the PAC to someone here.
