I live in colorado and i have to say, even though it rains very little here, the stock tires abosultely suck in any adverse condtions. I have had the same problem since day 1. Fortunately that will be rectified on tuesday when i get new tires. My solution was to drive like my father (who drives slower than his mother) on days when the surface conditions are less than favorable. Stick it out until they wear out or buy some new rubber. I would rate the stock michelins good in the dry weather but they are something slightly less than horrible in anything but dry.
