u my friend are GREATLY mistaken
Silverstars are a joke
a marketing gimmeck
they actually put out LESS lumens
any bulb that is colored looses certain colors and therefore a certain amount of lumen output
ALL silverstars are NOT as bright as the original bulb, no if ands or buts
if u dont believe me, put on in each socket and compare at headlight level, youll find that the standard halogen is far brighter, just yellower than the silverstar!
and yellow is necessary to cut thru fog ;-) why do u think our headlights dont come stock with silverstars if they are superior?

if you need MORE light, there are only three solutions
XtraVision (a few more lumens than stock)
HIR (plenty more lumens than stock, a halogen with a IR coating that makes it burn brighter, but at the same wattage)
HID (ALOT more than stock, brighter, but as illegal as any, and could potentially cause oncomming traffic eye damage depending on housing and aim, unless projectors are retrofitted into the housing instead)

Those are your ONLY options, until me and an old member here figure out how to make our LED headlights work, which will produce the same lumens (alittle more actually) as an HID system ;-)
