Newb qusetion!

Alright, so ive gone through pretty much all forums and found nothing on what to do with my car. The set up i have right now for wheels are 18X7.5 +35 offset and i have 225/40/18 rubber around them. The car i have is a civic sedan DX with stock suspension. I want to stiffen up the ride cause it feels like im driving a boat right now... =( I get some rub on dips and what not/ extra passengers. I know the offset is not the greatest but i wanted it to be the closest to the fender as possible without buying spacers. Can anyone sugest how much i could lower my car? Im considering the Tein H-techs beacause the drop is minimal but im also wondering if i even could go more.
