i have a coupe and i just took my grille off today just to paint the H. im too lazy and its raining and cold to go to the car to get my digi to put up pics but i will post up a few DIY style pics to help.
Tools needed to remove grille:
Flat head
Stubby phillips head
Allen Wrench
Remove 4 button clips on the big plastic piece above the grille with the flat head. two in the front, one on each side on the fenders.
Once you have removed that plastic piece (carefully guide it out from your hood latch)...you will see two allen wrench bolts on the left and right side of the grille.
Remove both allen bolts and pull grille towards you gently. you will see 8 or 9phillips head screws that are holding the grille in (four on left, four on right, and one in the middle, behind the H). This is where you need the stubby phillips head.
Unscrew all screws and then there are two clips holding the grille in, take your flat head and push down gently and tug gently on the grille from the front and it should slide right out.
Same process backwards to put it back on.
Takes a whole 5-7 mins to do. The 8-9 screws are a pain in the ass but be patient and dont pull the bumper out too far.
Hope this helps. LMK if you guys want me to put up pics.
