His car sounded like it was making a weird noise when the steering wheel was turned so he took it in.

Turns out the Manager "forgot" having the conversation with him a bout having the car serviced. Well it winds up being his HFP Suspension. They say they need receipt for it to proof and will order new one. I provided that for them since Joey is in CO. Then they call back and ask where we had it installed. I asked why does that matter? The kit is plug n play what would ne one do to it to cause it to be defective? hes like oh well Honda doesnt want to pick up the tab for someone elses mistake. IM like WTF.. a 5 yr old could do this with his eyes closed, you take the old one out n put the new one in, its plug n play.

If they dont wind up covering this im going to the parts manager and telling him they will never get my business again. and trust me I bring them a lot.

I will be going to classic from now on or just to Billy and buying my parts else where just to piss them off

The S. advisors don't have to deal with this, they still get paid at the end of the day, whereas the service manager has to keep these costs down as it's his job.

I under stand that.. BUt I talked to him when I had my 2000 accord. The car was modded and never been serviced by Honda and was 3500 miles over the warranty and got me more than half off on the tranny installed with labor.

I think he can afford to replace two shock top mounts. All it is is the top mounts not even the struts or springs

But two upper mounts is just beyond my comprehension how anyone can make the barings go bad on install and not be a covered item. just replace the damn things and not the shocks plain and simple

to make matters worse, it has been anything BUT smooth here on this new contract. i won't go into it but its just bogus. add to that the TERRIBLE signal even for AT&T Wireless of all ppl.... the ENTIRE trip here was awesome. never had an issue w/ signal landing in ABQ. got our rental & started driving thru NM CO-bound... full bars (no 3G network whatsoever out here in the mid-west i guess?) the "EDGE" network was active so it was alright. then we get into CO & everything is business as usual. time/timezone is correct & everything, signal is fine too.

sometime around sundown Thursday night everything went to sh!t. had to move MY room around 11PM my time cuz of some unknown flying/biting bugs (this hotel is FOUR months old only!! tho there is a LOT of construction & the state SHOULD be covered in snow @ this point in the calendar year but it has been unseasonably WARM for some strange reason *coughglobalwarningcouhg*), it got PRETTY cold & windy here last night. couldn't sleep for sh!t. broke my charger cord for the laptop when one of those bugs flew by my ear while i was on the laptop watching The Office..... which ROYALLY sucks cuz i have to be able to pay bills & whatnot. about the time i went to bed the signal was like a bar & "GRPS" is the only internet connection network available (one step below EDGE & 2 steps below 3G)... the wireless is great here but it was acting up as well.

woke up Friday morning (today) & i haven't been able to get a signal to save my life (we're not "IN in" the mountains either mind you. barely 11-12 miles into CO at all. my timezones are all f*cked up & keep switching so im not even sure the correct time w/o a hotel clock or tv handy.

its just been a mess. the hospital's previous client STILL hasn't moved all his sh!t out so we have NO phone or office to make calls from. DAY three is coming soon. first day "OFF" if you wanna call it that will be Sunday.

likely the 2nd person will be staying another week instead of leaving on the 5th with Lynn (bosses wife) which pisses me off cuz i want alone time to just BE ya know; drive around, explore, find mountain roads to cruise, just enjoy being myself around myself kinda stuff. oh & she's a heavy smoker, older, very hard-headed personality.

oh lord, i could go on and on and on forever... but i just wont. this Holler business sh!t is just the icing on the sh!t-cake of my life as of current. im just over it. period!

i cant very well say im "homesick" by any means yet but things just are ABSOLUTELY not going according to plan in any all aspects presently. PAIN IN THE F*CKING ASS if im honest.

im using a "Compaq" charger @ the moment from one of the co-workers. oddly it fits. my "jack" was bent & broken when i freaked out cuz of the bugs. it was sitting in my lap while i was watchin' tv & landed on the floor jack-side down.

Angel, if you can do me a SOLID & next time you go deal with them or drive by the area can you PLEASE just go by & be absolutely certain the car is locked and/or in a "safe" place like an end spot or curb. i absolutely hate being utterly powerless in this situation & "just a car" may not mean much to some but it means the WORLD and beyond to me personally.

i know you understand without hesitation as im sure Matt does too for example just off the top of my head.

& honestly, had i KNOWN in advance this was going to be such a f*cking nightmare i wouldnt have even given a 2nd thought to dropping the car off there at all. im sorry about this. i would have rather left the car in my garage @ home with my semi-trusting roomie caring for it & MAYBE remembering to start it. the LEAST of my concerns at this point i think in retrospect.
