generally speaking, it SHOULD be ok
see its alot like using a sylvania florescent tube with Advanced ballast, it will def work and be fine there
the problem is that alot of korean and chinese kits come poorly made, flaws and such, most Mcculloch ballasts arent too bad, but they still have a decent rate of failure and ur paying extra for not a whole lot more
i know nothing about DDM lol, but research your companies before purchasing. I will be purchasing my Digital kit this winter once i get my car back from the shop (a whole mONTH to repair what that idiot did in a hit and run!)

research is why im buying digital, and going with 4300kelvins ;-)
